It started raining after church, and Katrina immediately grabbed her umbrella and ran outside. For a little while, she tried to keep the fire going in the grill in the backyard, but eventually she realized that she was fighting a losing battle, and she just ran around, up and down the sidewalk, allowing herself to get completely soaked. After a little while, Zane joined her, and the two of them played in the rain for long enough that when they came in, they both looked like they'd fallen into a lake.
They loved it.
