We drove down to Kentucky this morning, arriving at about 3:00 this afternoon. This is our first time staying in Juanito's mom's new house, and it's just a lovely little home. The two youngest are starting out the night sleeping in a tent outside. We'll see if they make it out there the whole night.
Tonight we had a fire, and a dozen of Juanito's mom's friends came and sat around the campfire and talked and hung out for an hour or two. Emma ran around greeting everyone and enjoying the grass and giant fenced-in yard. The kids caught fireflies and enjoyed being out after dark.
Generally, though, we've just been enjoying being with mum/grandma and catching up a bit on what's been happening in our lives.
